How to use

To complete the ‘Coaches Form’ you will require 2 additional pieces of information other than your personal details.

1. A Locker Account (NCCP) - The Locker maintains the records of the National Coaches Certification Program (NCCP) and its partners. This is where your completed training, coaching certifications and eLearning is recorded.
   This can be obtained from ‘The Locker – coach.ca’ if you haven’t already got an account. Would recommend also completing the free ‘Required Courses’ before completing form.
2. Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) - A Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check will be required when the applicant is in a position of trust or authority of children under 18 years of age, the elderly or the disabled.
   A VSC can be obtained from your local Police Service if not already in possesion of a valid in date one.

 

How it works

Once you've completed the form... Depending on your availability, you will be offered various opportunities to coach in a paid position with an existing organisation or club. Payments can range from $15 - $50 per hour depending on your experience and/or qualifications. (Voluntary positions are also available.)
